WHY 2027

Representation should feel present.

In May 2026, Pelumi Olajengbesi emerged as Accord's candidate for the Oriade/Obokun Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives. In the same political season, he served as Spokesperson of the Imole Campaign Council, the coordinating campaign structure for Governor Ademola Adeleke's 2026 re-election bid. His public case for 2027 has focused on effective youth representation, fresh ideas, responsibility and a closer relationship between elected office and the communities it serves.

“The work begins now.”
THE PUBLIC CASE

A new chapter built around four clear ideas.

01

Effective representation

A constituency should be able to see, hear and hold its representative accountable.

02

Generational renewal

Pelumi has publicly argued for stronger youth representation and an end to recycling the same ideas indefinitely.

03

Community development

His public statements link the mandate to the hopes and developmental needs of communities across Oriade and Obokun.

04

People-centred governance

The campaign story is being framed around service, consultation and a collective journey rather than personal ambition alone.

THE CONSTITUENCY

Oriade.
Obokun.
One mandate.

The federal constituency brings together two Ijesa local government areas in Osun State, with Ijebu-Jesa serving as Oriade's headquarters and Ibokun as Obokun's headquarters.
